Hi, I'm Pius.

A picture of Pius A. Uzamere II

I believe that every person has something unique and precious to offer — their *art* — and my calling is to design and build systems that free them to make it.

Though my work has taken many forms, from becoming a computer scientist and serving as student body president at MIT to architecting and writing technical standards for the federal government to founding and hacking at my own startup to leading engineering for a news publication at The Information to doing human-centered design as a fellow at IDEO to learning and teaching at The Recurse Center, it has always been grounded philosophically in the pursuit of a better, happier world.

I'm in the lab quietly working from first principles on the purest distillation and embodiment of my vision to date and I can't wait to share it with you.

Soon. :)
